The base is a moulded vintage flowerpot rather than a stand, 10 inches tall on a 7.5 inch square, which is why this one can sit on a hearth or a porch step and look finished. Above it sit 180 snow flocked tips and 100 LEDs, run from a remote with 8 lighting modes, 4 brightness levels and a 6 on, 18 off timer.

The switch is always behind the tree
On most pre-lit trees the controller sits on the cord, low down and behind the branches. Changing a mode or dimming it means kneeling on the floor and feeling around in the dark.
A remote, four brightness levels and a timer
This one ships with both a light controller and a handheld remote. Eight modes, four levels of brightness and a timer that runs six hours on and eighteen off, all set from the sofa.
A potted tree is a different object from a tree on a stand. It is meant to be seen from all sides, to stand where a stand would look wrong, and to be moved without dismantling anything.
Four feet, including the pot
The drawing measures 4 ft to the tip and 3 ft across the widest branches, with the flowerpot base at 10 inches tall on a 7.5 inch square foot. Three feet of spread on a four foot tree is wide, so this is a tree with presence rather than a slim corner filler.
Flocking and the pot, up close
Two details carry this tree. The flocking sits heavily on 180 tips, white right into the middle rather than dusted over the surface. The pot is moulded with panelled sides and an aged finish, which is what lets it stand in a hallway without a skirt.
Two ways to control it
The graphic lists what the controls actually do. Eight modes: combination, sequential, chasing and fade, twinkle and flash, in wave, slo glo, slow fade and steady on. Four brightness levels, and a timer running six hours on and eighteen off. Either the controller on the cord or the remote will do all of it.
How the colour sits on white
Lit against black you can see why colour is used on a flocked tree rather than a green one. White flocking reflects the bulbs instead of absorbing them, so reds and greens read as colour rather than as dots of light.
