Two tall wooden fins front and back, three round portholes cut through them and a pair of walnut boosters at the base. It is a rocket, and the shape is doing structural work as well.
Pale birch fins with walnut panels and boosters, cut through with portholes, stepping up to a railed perch at the nose.
Four levels in a narrow shell
The base is 17 by 16 inches, small for a 47 inch tower, and the fins run the full height on both sides. The lower hideaway sits at 12.5 inches, the condo at 25 with an 8 inch opening, the railed perch at the top. Thirty three pounds is published per tier.
One open, one closed
The lower level is a fully enclosed hideaway with a round door. The upper is semi enclosed, open at the front so a cat can lie in it and still watch the room. A dark option and a bright one, on the same tower.
The fins are the guardrail
The two fins rise past the top perch and form a rail on either side of it. A cat sleeping up there is bracketed rather than balanced on an open shelf. The same fins make the frame a triangle in section, which is where its stability comes from.
Everything lifts or wipes
