The condo in the middle has an arch cut on two adjacent sides, so a cat can go in one way and out the other rather than reversing out of a dead end.
Sand coloured plush over pale sisal posts, with a boxed condo in the middle, a hammock slung underneath it and a rimmed bed on top.
In one side, out the other
Two arched doorways are cut on adjacent faces. A cat sleeping inside has a second exit, which is the difference between a shelter and a trap when a dog comes past. It also means two cats can share the box without one being stuck at the back.
Where the levels sit
The base is 18 by 13.5 inches, the top perch 14 by 14 with a 3.5 inch rim, the jumping platform 12 inches square and the condo roughly 11.5 inches wide with 8 inch doorways. Forty four inches overall puts the top bed at about the height of a kitchen counter.
What is under the top fabric
The top perch is filled with soft polyfill rather than a thin foam sheet, and the rim is filled through as well. That is why two cats fit in a 14 inch square: they sink into it slightly instead of sitting on top of a board.
Sisal where the posts are gripped
Natural sisal is wound round the posts between levels, so the surface a cat grabs on the way up is also the one it can scratch. Guidance suggests a post tall enough for a full stretch, and these runs are shorter than that.
