11.5 inches and 12 inches across, at the top and just below it. Two separate perches at nearly the same height is deliberate: in a two cat house it removes the argument about who gets the summit.
A ramp that is also a scratcher
The sloped panel is wrapped in sisal along its whole length. A cat going up it digs claws in with every step, which is a different action from a vertical post and suits cats that lean into a surface rather than stand at it.
The condo in the middle
