ProBasics builds this sling from mesh polyester so it drains and dries quickly in the shower or bath, with a cut-out for commode use and a 450 lb weight capacity across its four-point strap system. It's made to work with a compatible hydraulic patient lift, not as a standalone device.
Built for wet and dry transfers
Mesh polyester with a brushed lining lets water drain through during a shower transfer while still protecting skin from sliding, and ProBasics rates the sling to 450 lb across its four-point strap hookup. Total head, neck and partial under-thigh support is built into the shape.
The commode opening
A cut-out section lets the sling stay in place during toileting, sized at roughly 11 in by 8.5 in on the Medium, so a caregiver doesn't need to remove and refit the sling for bathroom use.
