8 FT Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree, Dual Layer TPE and PVC, 1470 Tips, 470 Warm White LEDs
Description
8 FT Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree, Dual Layer TPE and PVC, 1470 Tips, 470 Warm White LEDs
At eight feet this is the tallest of three sizes built the same way: a firm PVC core with ultra soft TPE needles drooping over the outside, 1470 tips in total, lit by 470 warm white bulbs on a 24 inch crossed metal base.
Tall trees that thin out at the top
Height bought by stretching the foliage
A cheap way to make a taller tree is to spread the same branches over a longer pole. The result is a thin upper third where the leader shows through, and a topper balanced on a bare spike.
The tip count goes up with the height
This 8 ft model carries 1470 tips against 1449 on the 7.5 ft and 1217 on the 7 ft in the same family, and the width stays at 4.3 feet. The extra height comes with extra foliage rather than a thinner spread of it.
Eight feet is the size where the ceiling becomes the first question rather than the last. Sizing guides pair an eight foot tree with a ten foot ceiling, or nine feet with a flat topper, because the stand lifts the tree a few inches and a star needs room above it. Worth measuring floor to ceiling before ordering rather than after the box arrives.

Eight feet against a six foot figure
The drawing places the tree beside a six foot Santa so the scale reads properly: eight feet tall, 4.3 feet across, on a 24 inch stand. That stand is two inches wider than the 7.5 ft version uses, which is the sort of detail that matters when a tree gets taller without getting wider. A UL certified adapter and two pairs of gloves are shown as part of the package.
Two leaves, two jobs
The ultra soft TPE leaf on the left is long, flat and hangs from the branch. The verdant PVC leaf on the right is shorter, stiffer and a darker green. TPE goes on the outside where texture shows, PVC packs the interior for density. On a tree this tall that inner layer is doing real work, because a bare pole is far more visible at eight feet than at six.

What 470 bulbs looks like after dark
Photographed against black with no other light in the frame. The bulbs run right to the leader rather than fading out in the top third, which is the honest test of a tall pre-lit tree. The soft outer needles catch light along their length, so the glow spreads rather than showing as isolated points.
Reaching the top of an eight foot tree
The photograph shows the practical reality: putting a topper on a tree this tall takes two people or a step stool. It also shows the branch structure holding ornaments out where they can be seen rather than letting them sink in, which is what the firm PVC inner layer contributes.

What you get
1470 branch tips
The highest count in this three size family, which is what keeps an eight foot tree from thinning at the top.
470 warm white LEDs
Pre-strung through all three sections so the lights are done before the tree is standing.
Ultra soft TPE outer leaves
Long, drooping and flexible on the outside of the branch, where the texture actually reads.
Verdant PVC inner layer
Stiffer and darker, filling the middle of the tree so the pole stays hidden at this height.
24 in crossed metal base
Two inches wider than the 7.5 ft model uses, folding flat, which an eight foot tree genuinely needs.
Hinged, three sections
Branches fall into place as each section is raised, so eight feet goes up in three lifts.
UL certified adapter
Stated by the manufacturer. It plugs into a standard household outlet.
Two pairs of gloves
Included, which on 1470 tips is a genuine help rather than a token extra.

Who is this perfect for?
Rooms with real height
Eight feet fills a room with a raised ceiling or a tall window bay where a seven foot tree would look short.
Texture over features
No modes, no remote, no colour changing. The cost sits in two kinds of foliage and a high bulb count.
Households that decorate hard
A firm PVC inner layer holds ornaments out where they show instead of letting them disappear into the branch.

What we stand behind
- The 1470 tip count and the 470 LED count are printed on the manufacturer's own panel for this size.
- The 8 ft by 4.3 ft size and the 24 in stand come from the maker's dimension drawing.
- The comparison with the 7 and 7.5 ft models uses the manufacturer's published figures for all three, since all three are carried here.
- Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the 8 ft have fewer lights than the 7.5 ft?
It is what the manufacturer publishes: 470 bulbs on the 8 ft against 500 on the 7.5 ft, with the tip count going the other way at 1470 against 1449. We report their figures as given rather than smoothing them out. In practice the difference of thirty bulbs across a tree this size is not something you would see.
What ceiling height do I need?
Ten feet is comfortable. Sizing guides suggest about a foot between the tip and the ceiling for a topper, and the stand lifts the tree a few inches further. Under a nine foot ceiling it will fit with a flat topper. Under eight feet it will not stand.
What does the TPE outer layer do?
It is a softer, more flexible plastic than PVC, used only on the outer needles where it hangs and droops instead of standing stiff. The firm PVC layer underneath keeps the shape, so you get a realistic surface without a floppy tree.
Can one person put it up?
The frame, yes. It is three hinged sections and nothing needs a tool. Seating the top section and fitting a topper at eight feet is easier with a step stool or a second pair of hands.
