Description

9 FT Snow Flocked Artificial Christmas Tree, Unlit, 1498 Tips, Four Hinged Sections

Nine feet of flocked tree with nothing fitted to it: no lights, no cones, no berries. Just 1498 snow covered PVC tips across a five foot spread, split into four hinged sections on a 23.5 inch folding iron stand.

Lighting a tree this big

Factory light counts rarely scale up

Plenty of pre-lit nine foot trees carry the same four or five hundred bulbs used on a seven footer. Spread over an extra two feet of height and five feet of width, the result is a large dark shape with scattered points of light in it.

Light it the way the room needs

Nothing is wired in here, so you choose the count, the colour and the spacing. On a flocked tree run the string down from the top in a single pass rather than circling it, which is what keeps the flocking on the branches instead of on the carpet.

An unlit tree at this size is a deliberate choice rather than a cheaper option. A nine foot tree needs a lot of light, more than most factory strings provide, and choosing your own means you can run the density the room actually wants. It also means a failed string in year five does not write off the tree.

Nine feet by five

A full profile flocked tree at 9 feet with a 5 foot spread, on a 23.5 inch stand. Allow a clear circle of five and a half feet. Sizing guides pair a nine foot tree with a ten or twelve foot ceiling once about a foot is left above the tip for a topper, so measure floor to ceiling first.

Four sections, three steps

Tighten the screws, let the hinged branches open on their own, then fluff. The panel shows the tree divided into four rather than three, which matters at this height because it keeps each piece short enough for one person to lift and stack without help.

The tree with nothing on it

Shot against real snow, which is a fair test of a flocked finish. The white sits along the top of every branch and thins where they turn under, the way snow settles rather than how paint sprays. With no lights, cones or berries fitted, everything you hang is your own choice.

Decorating nine feet of it

Two people, and that is realistic at this height. Gold and cream read best against heavy flocking, while dark colours disappear into the shadow between branches. With 1498 tips there is no shortage of places to hang from, and the branches hold a piece out where it can be seen.

What you get

1498 flocked tips

Counted by the manufacturer, each one snow flocked over green PVC across a five foot spread.

Four hinged sections

Nine feet in four pieces, so no single section is an awkward lift up a stairwell.

Branches open on their own

Hinged to the pole and folded for the box, they drop into position as each section stands up.

X shaped iron stand

A folding 23.5 inch metal base with foot pads, which a nine foot tree needs rather than a plastic one.

No fitted lights

Choose the count, the colour and the spacing, and replace the string in any later year without a new tree.

Non-flammable PVC

The manufacturer states the leaves are environmentally friendly, non-flammable and chemical free.

Who is this perfect for?

People with their own lights

A nine foot tree wants more light than most factory sets provide, and this leaves the count entirely to you.

Vaulted and double height rooms

Nine feet by five is a substantial tree, and heavy flocking makes it read larger still.

Awkward storage

Four shorter sections fit a narrow cupboard or a car boot better than three long ones do.

What we stand behind

  • The 1498 tip count, the 9 ft by 5 ft size and the four section build come from the manufacturer's own specification list.
  • The 23.5 inch stand figure is read off the maker's dimension drawing.
  • The maker's own photographs carry a note that the ornaments shown are not included.
  • Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Does a storage bag come with it?

The manufacturer's text mentions the four sections fitting into a tree storage bag, but no bag appears in any published package list, so we do not claim one is included. Treat a bag as a separate purchase if you want one, and a nine foot tree is a good candidate for it.

What ceiling height do I need?

Ten feet at a minimum, eleven is comfortable. Sizing guides suggest about a foot above the tip for a topper and the stand raises the tree a few inches. In a standard eight or nine foot room this tree will not stand up.

How many lights should I buy?

More than you think. Lighting a nine foot tree properly generally takes several hundred bulbs, and running the string from the top downward in a single pass rather than circling the tree is what keeps flocking on the branches.

Will the flocking shed?

Some will, mostly during setup and while the lights are being put on. Flocked tree care guidance is to assemble it where it will stand, handle the branches gently, and dust with a soft duster from the top down rather than vacuuming.
