Description

9 FT Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree with 2028 PVC Tips and 700 Warm White LED Lights

Seven hundred warm white bulbs on a nine foot frame is a high enough density that the light carries into the middle of the tree rather than skating across the front. There are 2028 branch tips on a 5.2 foot spread, and the branches close up on their own for storage.

Getting the tree back in the box

Branches that will not fold

Taking a big tree down is usually worse than putting it up. Branches that were fluffed outward in December have to be pushed back in one at a time, and a nine foot tree has hundreds of them.

Branches that close on their own

The manufacturer calls it auto spread and close up: the hinged branches drop into place when a section is raised and fold back against the pole when it comes down. Fewer branches to wrestle at the end of the season, which is when patience has run out.

The widest tree in this group at 5.2 feet, and one of the brightest at 700 bulbs. Both numbers matter at nine feet, because a tall tree that is narrow reads as a spire and a tall tree that is dim reads as a shadow. Sizing guides pair nine feet with a ten or twelve foot ceiling, so measure the room first.

Nine feet by five point two

The widest spread of any tree in this group, and the proportion is what makes a nine foot tree look like a tree rather than a column. Allow a clear circle of nearly six feet. Sizing guides pair nine feet with a ten or twelve foot ceiling once a foot is left above the tip for a topper.

Seven hundred bulbs, lit

Shot plainly on white so nothing flatters it. The bulbs reach the leader rather than fading out in the top third, which is the fair test at this height. Seven hundred on a nine foot tree is a high count, and the effect is a glow through the foliage rather than a scatter of bright points.

Where the bulbs actually sit

Right in close. Each bulb sits down among the needles on a short lead rather than on top of the branch, which is what lets 700 of them read as light rather than as a grid of dots. The green is a mid tone rather than the very dark green cheaper PVC tends to be.

The branch with the lights off

Worth a look, because this is what you see in daylight for most of December. The needles are dense enough to hide the wire along the branch, and the tips fan on more than one plane rather than lying flat. There are 2028 of them across the tree.

What you get

700 warm white LEDs

A high count for nine feet, which is what keeps the middle of a big tree lit rather than dark.

2028 branch tips

Counted by the manufacturer, spread across the widest base of any tree in this group.

5.2 ft spread

A full profile shape, with lower branches long enough to carry real ornaments rather than token ones.

Auto spread and close up

Branches drop into place as a section is raised and fold back against the pole when it comes down.

High density iron base

Metal rather than plastic, with covers on the feet so the floor is not scratched.

UL certified adapter

Stated by the manufacturer, with a 120 V input and a 29 V output.

Who is this perfect for?

Large, tall rooms

Nine feet by 5.2 is a big tree in every direction, and it needs a room with both the height and the floor.

People who want it bright

Seven hundred bulbs means no extra string has to be bought and no colour mismatch to worry about.

Anyone who dreads takedown

Branches that fold back against the pole on their own make January noticeably less of a job.

What we stand behind

  • The 2028 tip count, the 700 LED count and the 9 ft by 5.2 ft size all come from the manufacturer's own specification list.
  • The electrical figures are quoted exactly as the manufacturer's specification gives them.
  • The maker's own photographs carry no decoration inclusion beyond the tree and stand, and none is claimed here.
  • Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Is 700 lights a lot for a nine foot tree?

It is a high count. Many pre-lit trees at this height carry between 400 and 500. The practical difference is where the light sits: with 700 bulbs on a 5.2 foot wide tree the glow carries into the middle rather than stopping at the outer branches.

What ceiling height do I need?

Ten feet at a minimum, eleven is comfortable. Sizing guides suggest about a foot between the tip and the ceiling for a topper, and the stand lifts the tree a few inches further. In a standard eight or nine foot room this tree will not stand up.

What does auto close up mean?

The hinged branches fold back against the trunk when a section is lowered, rather than having to be pushed in by hand one at a time. On a tree with 2028 tips that saves a genuinely tedious hour at the end of the season.

What happens if a bulb fails?

Lighting trade guidance is that an LED which fails but stays intact leaves the rest of the run lit, while a lens cracked right through can take out a whole section. These lights are fitted at the factory, so treat them as part of the tree rather than a string to swap out.
