290 Pint Commercial Dehumidifier with Built-in Pump, 9000 Sq Ft, 350 CFM, 55 dB, Yellow and White
Description
290 Pint Commercial Dehumidifier with Built-in Pump, 9000 Sq Ft, 350 CFM, 55 dB, Yellow and White
At 1,200W and 93 lbs this is the largest machine in our range, rated 290 pints a day at 95F and 90% RH, 190 at 86F and 80%, and 116 pints on the AHAM 80F and 60% condition. It moves 350 CFM across a claimed 9,000 sq ft, runs at 55 dB, and drains itself through a built-in pump with 16 ft of lift.
A warehouse is not a big basement
What usually goes wrong
Stock, timber and equipment sitting in a large building take on moisture nobody measures until something is ruined. Household machines are put in the corner as a gesture and never move the reading, because the volume of air is an order of magnitude larger.
How this one answers it
290 pints a day at saturation, 350 CFM of air movement and a manufacturer coverage figure of 9,000 sq ft put this in a different class. It drains itself through the pump and rolls on four casters, two of them braked, so it can be repositioned as the season changes.
The upright cabinet stands 37.8 inches tall on a 16.5 by 16.1 inch footprint, which is a small patch of floor for this much capacity. It is metal and copper rather than moulded plastic, weighs 93 lbs, and the manufacturer gives a working range of 41F to 95F.

The four numbers that define it
9,000 sq ft of rated coverage, 290 pints a day at saturation, 350 CFM of air volume and 55 dB of noise. That last one is worth noting: 55 dB is loud for a living room but unremarkable in a warehouse or a gym, which is where this belongs. Note also that the store's own product text carries a placeholder instead of the coverage figure. The 9,000 sq ft comes from the manufacturer's own artwork.
Up the stairs without anyone carrying it
The hose in this photo runs up a flight of steps, which is exactly what the pump is for. It moves water 16 ft vertically and 16 ft along. Read the small print at the bottom of the frame though: the hose in the box is 3.3 ft. For a run like the one shown you will be buying a longer length, which is cheap but easy to forget on the day it arrives.

Four keys and a number you can read across a room
The panel is a sealed touch surface, which matters where dust gets into buttons. It shows the humidity it is reading, and four keys cover on and off, up, down and mode. Two wind speeds, a 24 hour timer and an auto defrost cycle sit behind them. Set a target between 30% and 80% and it will hold it.
Ninety three pounds that still rolls
Four universal casters, two of them with brakes. That combination is what you want in a building where the machine needs moving between bays but must stay put on a sloped or polished floor. There is a built-in handle for steering it, and the small footprint means it fits between racking rather than blocking an aisle.

What you get
Built-in water pump
No tank to empty. The pump moves water 16 ft vertically and 16 ft along, so a drain on another level is still usable.
Three published capacity ratings
290 pints a day at 95F and 90% RH, 190 at 86F and 80%, and 116 pints at the AHAM 80F and 60% condition.
350 CFM of air volume
Enough to keep a large building circulating. It is what the 9,000 sq ft coverage figure depends on.
A published temperature range
41F to 95F (5C to 35C). Worth checking against your building before winter, because compressor machines lose ground below that.
Sealed touch panel
A flat touch surface rather than mechanical buttons, with a humidity display, two wind speeds, a 24 hour timer and auto defrost.
Four casters, two braked
Moves easily and then stays where you put it. At 93 lbs on a polished concrete floor, the brakes are not decoration.
Metal and copper construction
A metal cabinet with copper in the coil circuit, rather than a moulded plastic shell. Built for permanent commercial use.
A serious but standard supply
110V, 60Hz at 1,200W. That is roughly 11A, so it needs a grounded Canadian outlet on a circuit of its own.

How it compares
What a 1,200W commercial machine does that smaller equipment cannot, and where it is the wrong tool.
| This 290 pint unit | A 140 pint commercial unit | A 50 pint household unit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| AHAM rated water removal | 116 pints per day | Around 50 pints per day | Often 20 to 30 pints per day |

Shipping
Ships from a Canadian warehouse. Free shipping on orders over $150. Some remote areas, PO boxes and surcharge regions may be excluded or charged extra.
Returns
Return within 14 days of purchase, unused, in original condition and packaging.
Warranty
Covered directly by the manufacturer under their warranty terms for material and manufacturing defects.
Who is this perfect for?
Warehouses, gyms and workshops
9,000 sq ft of rated coverage with 350 CFM behind it. At 55 dB it belongs in a working building rather than a home.
Construction and restoration sites
Continuous pumped drainage and a metal cabinet. Four casters with two brakes let it be repositioned as the work moves.
Large storage and archives
Set a target between 30% and 80% and the auto defrost and pump let it run without anyone attending to it.
Buildings between 41F and 95F
That is the manufacturer's published range. A building that drops toward freezing needs a desiccant machine instead.

What we stand behind
- Ships from a Canadian warehouse, with free shipping on orders over $150
- 14 day returns on unused items in original condition and packaging
- Covered by the manufacturer's own warranty for material and manufacturing defects
- The water pump is built in, so there is no separate pump to buy
Frequently asked questions
Is 290 pints a day realistic in my building?
That figure is measured at 95F and 90% relative humidity, which is hot, saturated air. At 86F and 80% the manufacturer publishes 190 pints, and at 80F and 60%, the long standing AHAM condition, 116 pints. Most Canadian buildings sit closer to the AHAM condition in summer and well below it the rest of the year, so use 116 pints as your planning figure.
Will the supplied hose reach my drain?
Probably not. The pump will move water 16 ft up or 16 ft along, but the hose in the box is 3.3 ft. Work out the run before delivery and buy a longer hose to match. This is the most common complaint with any pumped machine and it is a five dollar fix if you plan for it.
How loud is 55 dB?
Roughly the level of a conversation at the other end of a room. In a warehouse, a gym or a construction site nobody will notice it. In a home office or a bedroom it is too loud to sit beside, and a smaller household unit at around 40 dB would be the better choice.
What electrical supply does it need?
110V, 60Hz at 1,200W, which is roughly 11 amps drawn continuously. That is a standard grounded Canadian outlet, but it must be a circuit this machine does not share. Do not run it through an extension cord, and if the building has older wiring, have an electrician confirm the circuit before you leave it running unattended.
