Four drawers, two each side

Each holds 28 by 19.5 inches inside at five inches deep, on casters. Two pull from each long side, so the bed needs clear floor on both sides rather than just one. Fitted fronts match the upholstery.

Light along the top edge

The strip sits in a recess across the top of the headboard rather than behind it, so the colour washes up the wall behind the bed rather than across the room. Twenty colours with dynamic modes and adjustable flashing speed and brightness, from a remote that works to 49 feet.

Metal legs under plywood

Extra middle support legs in metal under solid plywood slats, which is what the published 880 lb rests on. Nothing goes between the slats and the mattress.
