Linen rather than velvet

Five legs and foam pads

Eleven metal slats snap into the rails over five middle support legs, with foam between the metal parts to stop the ticking a steel frame otherwise makes. The published capacity for the Queen is 1100 lb.

Light where you need it

The strip runs behind the headboard shelf and along the base. At the lowest setting it is enough to find a drawer or a light switch without waking anyone, which is the useful half of an LED bed.
