86 inches long and 57.5 wide on the floor. The mattress area inside is 76 by 54.5 inches for a Double. The headboard reaches 47 inches, which is tall, and its cubes measure 8, 16 and 20 inches across. The deck sits 14 inches up with 10.5 inches clear beneath it. The manufacturer asks for a mattress no thicker than 8 inches, because a deeper one buries the padded panel.

Two sockets, two port types

Two AC outlets take a lamp and a laptop brick. Alongside them a USB A port and a USB Type-C port cover a phone and a newer tablet without an adapter. The cord to the wall is 5 feet.

Four ways to arrange the drawers

The panel shows both drawers on the left, both on the right, or one on each side. On smooth casters they slide rather than drag. Each drawer is 35 inches deep by 15.5 wide with 4.5 inches inside, so allow about three feet of clear floor on whichever side you choose.

The lights and the handset

Twenty static colours and twenty two moving modes, with brightness and speed both adjustable from the remote. Left on a low static warm setting it works as a night light for the room.
