Eighty five inches long and 63 across, with a 40 inch slatted headboard carrying a 4 inch shelf, two mains outlets and two USB ports. Four lined drawers roll out from underneath on wheels that swivel.
The Queen version: the same horizontal boards and light strip, the same shelf across the top, and four drawers rather than the usual two.
Eighty five by sixty three
That is the floor it takes for a 60 by 80 inch Queen. The headboard is 40 inches from the floor with a 4 inch shelf on top and an 8 inch gap between the lowest board and the mattress deck. Each of the four drawers is 31 by 20.5 inches with 4.5 inches inside.
Boards, slats and a mute bar
The headboard boards are thickened rather than thin veneer, the deck is steel slats and a mute bar runs under the centre. On a Queen carrying a published 1000 lb, that centre bar is both a support and a silencer.
Four ways to plug in
Two mains outlets and two USB ports, recessed into the board. The manufacturer rates the outlets at 125V 15A and the USB ports at 5V up to 2.1A, and prints a UL mark on the panel.
Lined boxes, not wire baskets
The panel compares them directly with an open wire basket. Four lined fabric drawers on directional wheels, 31 inches deep, means the bed absorbs about as much folded storage as a chest of drawers would. Allow a little over two and a half feet of clear floor at the side to pull one right out.
