76.5 by 55.5 inches on the floor for a 54 by 75 inch Double, with the deck 12 inches up and 10.5 inches clear underneath. Because there is no headboard and no footboard, the frame's footprint is almost exactly the mattress footprint, which is what makes it fit rooms other beds will not.
A foot of usable floor
10.5 inches of clearance runs unobstructed from one side of the frame to the other. Suitcases, baskets and a robot vacuum all use it, and with no footboard you can slide things in from the end as well as the sides.
Eleven slats, five legs
Eleven thick metal slats over five support legs for this size, with reinforced connections. Foam padding sits on the frame joints, which is the detail that stops a bare steel frame ticking every time somebody moves.
