Is the seat really 24 inches?

The title says 24 inch, but the drawing on this listing measures the seat at 25 in. We publish 25 in. Either way it is counter height, for a top of about 35 in to 37 in.

Will it fit a 42 inch bar?

No. A 41 in to 43 in bar wants a seat around 28 in to 30 in. At 25 in you would be sitting well below the top.

Does the whole stool spin?

No. Only the seat turns, on a bearing under the cushion. The legs and footrest stay put.

How do I clean the seat?

The cover is a wipeable PVC. A damp cloth and mild soap is enough, and spills should be blotted rather than rubbed in.
