Freedom 83 is a Toronto streetwear label that launched in 2016. The name is short for "Finding Freedom since 1983," the brand's own tribute to the year Sri Lanka's civil war began, and the company says a portion of every sale goes toward youth education.
The tee's wordmark, on a hoodie
It's the same stacked wordmark used on the brand's Collectively Unbreakable tee, moved onto a heavier hooded pullover. The hood closes with a white-finished polyester drawcord, and the fit runs slim around the rib cage rather than boxy.
